Workspace admins can configure how and when the Fluency agent operates, including the observation window and any applications or URLs to exclude from capture.

How to configure agent settings

  1. Open the Fluency Portal. Navigate to dashboard.usefluency.com to launch the Fluency portal. You must be a workspace admin to do this. Contact your IT team if you’re unsure.
  2. Go to Settings. Click the settings icon in the left sidebar.
  3. Open the Agent tab. Find it in the sidebar under the organization category.

  1. Set the observation window. Adjust variables like observation days and observation hours, scoped to the relevant time zone. This defines when Fluency is operating. For example, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, Pacific time.
  2. Add exclusions. Add any applications or URLs that Fluency should never be able to access. For example, facebook.com or iMessage.
The observation window controls when screen activity is captured. The agent may still show sync activity outside this window. This is a lightweight status heartbeat and does not collect any user data.
